We are jumping across cones and through hoops. It got wider the more we jumped. 

We played a game called Volcanoes and Valleys. We had to turn each other's cone upside down. It was really fun. 

Today in PE we learnt about jumping. To jump you have to launch, jump and land! 
Look at how high we can go.

We went on a bush walk. We learnt that if you are really quiet you can hear and see the birds.

Room 16 and our Buddy class Room 12 hosted the whole school assembly. Our theme was Pirates and being Sunsmart.

We traced around a template, then used crayon to colour in the patterns. Finally we used blue dye over the top.  

Here are our pictures for the Art Festival. We showed our Kimonos, Matariki, Autumn pictures, Cherry Blossoms and Porthole art. There were lots of wonderful pieces of Art on display. I wonder what was your favourite? 

Here I am learning to do voice typing. You have to talk into the computer and it will type your story out for you. It is lots of fun. Neirin

We did a sorting activity and we matched the words to the sound on the kite. We made a kite tail. We made a line of words and practised reading them.
